Self-Awareness & Self-Esteem Improvement
Self-esteem refers to a person's overall sense of self-worth. It may need improvement if you often ask yourself:
-
Do people actually like me, or am I just a burden?
-
Why do I always mess things up?
-
Why can't I be as successful/confident/attractive as others?
-
Why do I always feel anxious and insecure?
-
Do I deserve happiness and success?
-
What would people think of me if they knew the "real" me?
-
Am I lovable and worthy of respect?
-
Why do I constantly compare myself to others?
-
Will I ever overcome my weaknesses?
Self-awareness is the ability to reflect on oneself and recognize how actions, thoughts, and emotions align—or misalign—with inner values. If these thoughts resonate with you, self-exploration may be helpful:
-
Why can't I figure out what I truly want in life?
-
Why do I keep repeating the same mistakes?
-
Can I accurately assess how my actions impact others?
-
Am I truly aware of my own values, or do I just go along with what others say?
-
Why do I struggle to connect past experiences with my current behaviors?
-
Why do I find it hard to accept feedback or criticism?
-
Why do I often feel disconnected from my own thoughts and emotions?
-
Why do I struggle to set and maintain boundaries in my relationships?

Unhealthy Perfectionism, People-pleasing
The two problems are slightly different, but many of the symptoms are the same. In both cases, compulsive thoughts ("I'm not good enough", "my needs don't matter", "I can't let others down", "I can't make mistakes", etc.) can be observed. Perfectionism is not a problem in itself, it becomes one if you notice strong negative reactions, even fear, anxiety, and catastrophizing even when you make small mistakes. When it comes to people-pleasing, this issue is slightly different than perfectionism. A person struggling with the compulsion to conform is characterized by relegating their own needs and desires to the background, as well as relying on the reinforcement and control of others. If you struggle with these, you may feel that it would be good to improve your self-acceptance and self-confidence - in which I am happy to accompany you in my work.

Supporting Recovery from Toxic Relationships (including narcissistic abuse)
By toxic relationship we mean an unhealthy, harmful relationship. The signs of a toxic relationship are that one party is controlling, has frequent arguments, blames, isolates, criticizes, is jealous, mocks and gaslights, i.e. the victim questions even their basic experiences. It is common for the parent(s) or an ex-partner to be the toxic person, yet the victim often has feelings such as guilt or shame that can keep them in a vicious circle. It may also happen that you are attached to the abusive person, you love them, and you feel like you can't do anything about it, which can especially confuse you emotionally.
I have been trained in a victim support program (specifically specializing in victims of narcissistic and emotionally immature persons), and I also have practical experience on the subject. During recovery, I will help you process events, create new narratives, understand how abusive relationships work, and improve your self-compassion.
Stress, Anxiety
Under stress, we mean physical sensations (malaise, headache, strong heartbeat), while under anxiety we mean the mental phenomenon. Anxiety has no object: instead, the feeling appears and overwhelms the person. The feeling can be scary, so you may also develop a fear of anxiety. In my work, I emphasize the treatment of both problems, mainly with elements of behavioral therapy.
The mentioned issues are the ones in which I have the most training and experience, however, I am happy to see different people with different problems. If you have any further questions, please contact me!
